How can I tell if my China visa is valid for 10 years?Updated 3 years ago

As of 2014, US passport holders only may be eligible to receive a China visa valid for 10 years multiple entry. This validity is restricted to passport holders whose passports are valid for at least 12 months. The Consulate will also consider the reason for the visit, as stated in the invitation letter, in their decision, as well as the primary activity of the company you are employed by and visiting.

To see if your visa was issued with a validity of 10 years, you will want to check the Issue Date, and the Enter Before date.

The Issue Date is the date that your visa is issued, and when the validity of the visa begins.

The Enter Before date is the last date that your visa is valid for entry to China.
