Who is eligible for a Brazil eVisa?Updated 3 years ago

Please note: As of March 18th, 2019 the Brazilian Government has lifted the visa requirements for US, Australian, Canadian and Japanese passport holders.

Since the above nationals were the sole recipients of the Brazil E vIsa scheme, Brazil E Visa Scheme has since been discontinued. The aforementioned nationals no longer require a visa to visit Brazil provided:

The visits are for tourist and business purposes. For business, this would include meetings and general business development activities.

The stay can be up to 90 days and may be extended locally by the Brazilian Authorities at their discretion for another 90 days. Visits are not to exceed 180 days in a calendar year.

Those business travelers who seek to enter Brazil for specialized technical work related activities must still apply for a Temp V (Vitem V) Brazil visa through a Brazilian Consulate or Embassy.
